The Code has been adopted and implemented by governing bodies of sports, clubs, local sports partnerships and community/voluntary groups on an on-going basis since 2000. Childrens sport should be conducted in an atmosphere of fair play. Childrens sport should be conducted in a safe, positive and encouraging atmosphere. Children should be valued and treated in an equitable and fair manner All adults involved in sport have a responsibility to be aware of child protection
