6
Take a Break. 10-15 minutes (good time to edit someone else's paper.)
This gives you time to forget what you wrote. Everyone needs a break.
7
Think about the things you will be looking for.
Devise a plan of attack. Focus on one or two things at a time. *If you try to do it all at once you WILL miss something.
8
What to look for. Is it descriptive? Does it make sense?
Is it choppy or does it flow? Does it stay on topic through out the paper? Is your writing organized? Does it follow the outline? Is It repetitive? Look for punctuation, capitalization, and spelling mistakes. Grammar, is it correct? Verb tenses, do you know what they are and are they consistent.
9
Take your time. If you rush you will miss something.
If you miss something in your paper that is okay. But if you miss something in someone else’s paper because you were rushing that is not okay.

DON’T BE MEAN. DON’T USE HURTFUL COMMENTS OR CRITISISM. If you wouldn’t say it with me standing behind you don’t say it. If you are mean I will be mean
