2 Article II – The Executive Branch
Section 1 Executive powers are vested in the president 1) Each state will choose electors (equal to the number of senators and representatives the state has) to elect the president in the electoral college 2) 3) 4)

3 Section 2 1) 2) ***The president can deploy the military for 60 days; anything over 60 days must have congressional approval ***A pardon is a forgiveness of a crime ***The Senate must approve the treaties ***The executive branch is the largest of the three branches

5 Section 4 1) ***Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton have been the only two presidents to be impeached

6 Article III – The Judicial Branch
Section 1 1) All lower courts will be created by Congress 2)

7 Section 2 The Supreme Court can hear cases involving the Constitution, US law, US officials, and between the states 1) 2) ***A majority of cases they hear involve appellate decisions These cases just have the lawyers making the cases and do not involve a jury

8 Section 3 1) Congress has the sole power to punish those who commit treason
