* Present a positive image. * Any new or modified logos submit to the Assistant Director

* Associated with alcohol, tobacco, gambling, or items which could be used to kill * Does not represent the Campus Recreation in good taste * Political activity of any kind * Containing profanity, ethnic/gender/religious slur, same words and/or phrases with double meanings, homonyms, synonyms, and in poor taste

* Any informational decal, notice, placard, or poster * Posting means any methods employed for displaying a sign * May only be posted on designated posting areas

* Student Organization/Departmental Solicitation Permit form must be submitted (Campus Activities Office) * Submit original flyer to be posted * Confirmation will be made in one to two days with the approval stamped on the original flyer * Now copy that flyer for postings * 2 week posting window * Posting size regulations

* Rules: * Informational flyer must have the date of posting marked on them * Two-week period ONLY * <22x28 inches in size * ONLY flyers may be posted on campus * Remove flyers no later than 14 days after posting or 24 hours after the event that is advertised, whichever is earlier * University staff, faculty and designated student employees have the authority to remove improperly posted signs

* Permanent sign * Tree, shrub or plant * Properly posted sign * Fence or chain & support structure * Light control junction box * Statue, monument or similar structure * Utility pole * Brick, concrete or masonry structure * Fire hydrant OR any object within 25 ft of one * Curb or sidewalk * Building or wall, except bulletin boards * Bench or bus stop * Trash can or dumpster

* San Marcos Access TV * Submit Channel 17 notice request for the Campus Rec marketing team to distribute weekly * Quad Electronic Sign * Request through the LBJ Student Center Reservations Office (Second floor of the LBJSC) * Submit three weeks in advance to ensure at least two weeks of promotion * Campus Recreation Tabling * Several times a semester * Contact Marketing department * University Star Newspaper * Calendar of events - Send an e-mail to starcalendar@txstate.edu

* Campus Recreation marketing team will distribute flyers to the following locations: * Campus Recreation facilities (14) * Residence halls (21) * Residence hall RA s (160 each floor) * General Student buildings on campus (18) * Academic buildings on campus (58) * Student organization boxes (325) * Submit the posting request form to Campus Recreation * Duplicating expenses will be charged to the clubs state account * Allow five working days for posting to be approved
