2 UVIS TEAM MEETING OPERATIONS UPDATE
Instrument Status On/Off Cycle: 28. +1 since last meeting. S/C safing on 11/1/2010 in S64 Hours On: ~90,500 hours. Longest continuous operations: 9/11/2007 – 11/1/2010. HDAC Filament Modulation: Filament 1: hours (H cell), (D cell). Filament 2: hours. Last: In S63 during T72 (H cell only). Lost: In S64 during T73 (did not execute). Next: In S67 during T75 (H cell and D cell). 01/04/11 UVIS TEAM MEETING OPERATIONS UPDATE

4 UVIS TEAM MEETING OPERATIONS UPDATE
First Time Events New SSR allocation for IEB (starting S65). Use of “cyclic” to send commands to UVIS during system scan: Starting S65 (should have been S64 but…). Save command memory space on-board the S/C: UVIS_142SA_MOS142APO001_PRIME with cyclic: 5 commands. UVIS_142SA_MOS142APO001_PRIME without cyclic:545 commands. UVIS_142SA_MOS142APO001: timing looks Ok. 01/04/11 UVIS TEAM MEETING OPERATIONS UPDATE

Note on System Scan Need to increase the SSR allocation by 0.6% from what is given by the spreadsheet: The spreadsheet assumes un-interrupted data acquisition. In the system scan there is one integration per mosaic stop… The last packet of each integration is not fully filled… The spreadsheet does not take that into account. In UVIS_142SA_MOS142APO001 expected 545 integrations. Got 542+. 01/04/11 UVIS TEAM MEETING OPERATIONS UPDATE

Rbot: Workload Impact The impact of Rbot on the ops team workload is highly variable: S64: 1 out of 6 designs S65: 3 out of 10 designs S66: 1 out of 10 designs S67: 0 out of 15 designs S68: Don’t know yet. The up-front job done by SP and the lowering of the keep-out values (to +/- 300 rpm starting S67) help a lot. 01/04/11 UVIS TEAM MEETING OPERATIONS UPDATE

8 UVIS TEAM MEETING OPERATIONS UPDATE
Major Local Issues Uplink side: None Downlink side: Beginning of S65: problem ingesting data with the correct CIMS labels due to a clock kernel switch in FSIV. Consequence of the S64 safing In S65: problem processing large files generated by long (32 hours) system scans. We have a workaround 01/04/11 UVIS TEAM MEETING OPERATIONS UPDATE

Notes and Reminders Use UVIS_SOLAR_OFF to Sun in CIMS for all solar occultation instead of ISS_NAC to Sun (-20.0, 0.0, deg) offset. HDAC modulation is a non-standard power mode. Before requesting sponge bits let us know what you want as we may have a good understanding of instrument SSR loading. The list of ring occultations that contain an atmospheric occultation is on the team web site at The list of all the tour calibrations is on the team web site at The UVIS PEFs are on the team web site at 01/04/11 UVIS TEAM MEETING OPERATIONS UPDATE
