2. Incomplete Dominance
Occurs when neither allele is completely dominant or completely recessive
Results in a blending of the two alleles.
Example:
Red flower x white flower = pink flower

3. Codominance
Occurs when both dominant and recessive traits are expressed equally
Blood type is an example

4. Polygenic Traits Traits that are produced with two or more genes
Eye color and skin color are examples (notice how many different eye colors or skin color variations there are)

5. Sex-linked Genes Genes on the sex-chromosomes
Females are XX, males are XY
Any recessive X’s get passed down more easily in males
For example, males are more prone to red-green colorblindness
