11 Mission Barriers: * Lordship and Acknowledgment Is God Truly Worthy Of Our Love and Obedience?

12 Have you not known. Have you not heard
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. Isaiah 40:28

13 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable.

15 IV. A Call To Arms

16 To love and treasure the lord God:
I must acknowledge his supremacy

17 “O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven
“O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you. 2 Chronicles 20:6

18 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. 18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. 19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, 20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. Colossians 1:15-20

19 To love my neighbor as my self:
I must submit to god’s lordship in my life

20 23 And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. Luke 9:23-24
