when Male artists who formed together in the 1920’s starting in Toronto, These artists were determined and wanted to express their experiences with Canadian landscape through paintings.

what At this time Canada was not known for the arts, but with the uniting of this group, people found the appreciation for Canadian art increasing rapidly

how Circumstances brought many artists who explored and fell in love with the landscapes of Canada, they all agreed that Canada’s landscapes needed to be recorded in an untouched way.

Significance The Group of Seven brought out the beautiful nature in Canada and helped people understand a way of expressing yourself through art.
