2. The Exhortation To Become New
Fact: we are made “new” through the cross of our Savior. Gal. 6:15
Still, the exhortation to be “new” is one that exists throughout our walk in Christ and manifests a life of conversion as seen in through our lives.

4. A New Way of Seeing The Need for “open eyes”. Acts 26:18
The laws of the Lord are not a burden, but wonderful. Psa. 119:18
We see genuine purpose of our life in Christ (Eph. 1:18), not in the vain things of life. Psa. 119:37

6. New Way of Thinking
Synonymous to the heart is the mind that is made new in Christ. Rom. 12:1-2
The catalyst for a new way of thinking? A New Commandment. Jn. 13:34 (1 Jn. 2:7-8; 2 Jn. 5)

8. A New Way of Living
The totality of seeing – not from our vantage point, but the Lord’s – affects both the way we think and feel.
This new way manifests itself in how we live. 1 Jn. 3:11-18

10. A New Heart
Salvation demands a broken heart (Joel 2:12-13) that is honest. Lk. 8:15
God takes believers with this type of heart and transforms accordingly… day by day.
This new heart, new life, new thinking = repentance and conversion.

11. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,” (2 Co 5:17–18).
