2. Citing Sources
You must know where you found your information. Put the author’s last name and the year the article was published in parentheses at the end of the sentence. Malala was named after Malalai, a female Afghan martyr who died in battle (Leive, 2013).

3. Reference Page
At the end of your paper, you need to create a reference page. The sources you used should be listed in alphabetical order by the author’s last name. It should include the following: Author, A.
