7 Analyzing climate graphs and lamecow
1.) Select any two cities, each one coming from these regions: South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Central America, Oceania 2.) Research and sketch the city’s climate graph. 3.) Identify the climate found in that city and use it to explain the climate graph (IOW, explain the characteristics of the climate using the c.g. as proof). Climate types can be found in chapter 3 of book or in one of my atlases. 4.) Use two factors of LAMECOW to explain the climate of the city.

9 Example: 1. ) North America: Indianapolis, Indiana, United States 2.) See last slide for my “drawing”  3.) The climate type found in Indianapolis, IN is humid continental. This can be seen from the climate graph because of the fluctuation in temperature – it is evident that there are four distinct seasons. 4.) Latitude: mid-latitude location Continental location: temperature shows fluctuation which means it isn’t coastal
