Series: 𝑆= π‘Ž 1 + π‘Ž 2 + π‘Ž 3 + π‘Ž 4 +…+ π‘Ž 𝑛 +…, is the sum of a sequence. Can be Finite or infinite. Geometric Series: the sum of the terms of a geometric sequence. 𝑆=π‘Ž+π‘Žπ‘Ÿ+π‘Ž π‘Ÿ 2 +π‘Ž π‘Ÿ 3 +…+π‘Ž π‘Ÿ 𝑛 +… π‘Ž is the first term and π‘Ÿ is the common ratio
