A city born to welcome
Rimini is one of the capital cities of the Emilia Romagna region and it can be considered
the capital of the Romagnola Riviera. It’s an ideal destination for everybody who wants to
alternate the relaxation of days on the beach and the fun of nights in discos with a tour
of a city that has lots of art treasures.
Rimini is substantially composed of two areas : the old town center,
which is full of art and culture, and Marina Centro, a green belt along which you
can go for long walks. It has a wide variety of shops, bathing establishments and clubs. Rimini is an open
hospitable city, built for people both along its wide sea-beach and its old town center.
The ancient ways of Rimini, Corso d’ Augusto, Gambalunga Street, Cavour Square,
Tre Martiri Square, Ferrari Square and the characteristic city alleys are obligatory places to
go shopping. Certain places like “ piazzetta della vecchia pescheria” are meeting places
especially for the ever increasing number of university students present in the city. Near the ancient stoned
counters,on which at one time fish was sold, there are trendy clubs that have made this
suggestive square the core of “movida” Romagnola.

3. Another side of Rimini
There is another side of Rimini: you can see the shutters pulled down and unlit signs.
This is the Rimini which wakes up early in the morning to go to school.
This is the Rimini where common people live and watch the television in the evening.
If you want to get away from everyday life, you can have a walk along the beach in winter, you can see the deserted sea front.
However the landscape might not appeal very much, but the atmosphere is completely gobsmaking.
