Engagement event for people who provide information, advice and support to informal Carers in Gateshead
An informal carer includes any person, such as a family member, a friend or neighbour, who is giving regular, ongoing assistance to another person without payment for the care given.
Are you:
An organisation which currently supports informal carers
A health care professional
A social Care professional
Part of an organisation which supports employees who also provide an informal caring role
An educational representative who supports young carers and young adult carers
If the answer is yes, a local independent charity Involve North East and HealthWatch Gateshead would like to share with you our aims for helping carers get the right help in the right place at the right time.
Work has already taken place to gather the views and experiences of Carers and professionals and a number of service aims have been developed. To progress these further, we would like to invite you to our event where you can learn more about these service aims and give your views and opinions.
