6. Selection Criteria
Experience completing a public project in a prominent location, with a budget of this size (50%)
Sensitivity, creativity and engagement with diverse community (25%)
Interest in the way that San Pedro Creek influenced the development and culture of San Antonio (25%)
Three finalists will be selected and contracted to create proposals

7. Schedule – subject to change
Week of Sept 24 Selection panel reviews applications and selects finalists
November 9 Proposals due from selected finalists
Week of Nov 12 Finalist interviews conducted, artist selected
December Bexar County Commissioners Court approval of selected artist
Winter Artwork installation complete
