1/2/2019 Summary of Overall Progress ( ) Structure Steering Committee consists of Heads of CAA of Member States Director , TCB – ICAO Regional Director – ICAO Bangkok Office, Programme Coordinator (Secretary) meets at least once a year has held 18 meetings to date is assisted by Technical Team SARAST / ARAST National Coordinators NAST 19th Steering Committee Meeting - COSCAP - South Asia 1/2/2019

Structure Started as a Project with specific time span (five years) Converted to a Regular on-going Programme with distinct phases Phase I ( ) Phase II ( ) Phase III( ) Activities to be performed in each Phases is spelled out in the Programme Document for that Phase. Operation is governed by Memorandum of Understanding signed by States Institutional Framework & Procedures Manual Bi-lateral Agreements between States and the Programme Funding By a Trust Fund established with State/Donor Contributions and maintained by ICAO Execution by ICAO 19th Steering Committee Meeting - COSCAP - South Asia 1/2/2019

Technical Staff Initially A Chief Technical Advisor and Airworthiness Expert A Regional Flight Operations Expert and Airworthiness Expert Subsequently International Experts left and Regional Experts took charge of the Programme Programme Coordinator Flight Operations Airworthiness Aerodromes Air Traffic Services Services of International Experts were hired on short term on the need basis. 19th Steering Committee Meeting - COSCAP - South Asia 1/2/2019

PROGRESS REVIEW - 2009 RECOMMENDATIONS
To make note of the progress made in the year under review. To assign due priority to each of the Programme objectives and associated activities depending on the needs of Majority of Member States, if such Activities are to be implemented at different rates of pace. To consider whether there is any need to revise/amend the Programme Objectives in the Programme Document and intended Activities under the Objectives, to meet the current needs of Member States. 19th Steering Committee Meeting - COSCAP - South Asia 1/2/2019
