COMPETITION FORMAT Double gender eventsSeparate Men & Women Competitions2 teams per country per gender composed by two players eachPlaying Country vs. Country, in best-of-five format In case of tie, one match or as an alternative a Golden Set until 15 points (with a 2 points lead) can be played by the athletes designated by each country. In case a Golden Set has to be played the Head of Delegation/captain of the country decides which athlete plays. Optional: this match or golden set can be played in any combination of the 4 players from the same country

APPLICATION DEADLINES AND REPORTS 8 PROCEDUREDEADLINE All National Federations to send their application form (BVBWC 01) to host and participate to their respective Confederation 31 MAY 2010 Confederations to make a proposal (through the BVBWC_02 form) to the FIVB on format to compete in the various phases (date, location, etc.) & FIVB to give its feedback / approval JUNE 2010 The FIVB to approve the format of each Confederation (Country vs. Country) JUNE 2010 Results to be updated upon conclusion of each match/event through the appropriate software provided by the FIVB +7 days after the eventNF to send a Final Event Report
