What is Bridge to the Future (B2F)?
Bridge to the Future (B2F) Scholars Program will support up to 25 Canoga Park High School 2018 graduates with a 4-year, tuition-free CSUN education. B2F students will receive all the services and supports needed to successfully complete a bachelor’s degree.

What will you receive from B2F?
Four-year tuition-free CSUN education. (more info will be provided for the break down ) Participation in a University 100 (U100-Freshman Seminar) course B2F Cohort. Individual peer mentoring from CSUN students. Training to become a peer mentor. Priority registration each semester you are in the program. Access to B2F resource advisors. Exciting B2F extracurricular events and field trips. Direct and ongoing mentoring from B2F faculty mentors. Community engagement opportunities to improve Canoga Park.

Who may apply to B2F? Students Who:
Will graduate from Canoga Park High School in 2018. Must Have participated in community services activities in Canoga Park. (20 hours minimum) Will apply to CSUN and qualify for admission. *Will apply for financial aid

What are the B2F requirements?
Once enrolled at CSUN students must: Maintain full-time enrollment (12 units min). Continue to Engage in community service activities in Canoga Park. (Ex. Return to cphs to promote program, assist with csu application workshops, tours, etc.) Participate in B2F student activities and meetings. Mentor future B2F students.

CSUn b2f deadlines Sept Submit “Intent to register” application online OCTOBER 1 - NOVEMBER 30, Submit your CSUN application FEBRUARY 2, Submit SAT and/or ACT scores MARCH 2, Priority Deadline for financial aid (FAFSA and California Dream Act application) AUGUST Start of your first CSUN semester

Community service options: (The following is a list of organizations within the Canoga Park Community who have extended the opportunity for students to volunteer with them.) 8. Save the date: Canoga & the neighborhood partners in action will host a community forum: Tuesday, September 26th 5-6:30pm in the OAR 2-3 min presentations by canoga Park organizations who are offering cphs students the opportunity to volunteer with them. They will provide you with contact information in order to start your community service.
