2. Unit 3 - p. 55 LANGUAGE FOR WRITING: PRESENT PERFECT
RULES:
Use the PRESENT PERFECT to talk about something that happened several times in the past
Something that happened at an UNSPECIFIED time in the past
Something that began in the past and continuous to the present.
When time in the past IS NOT IMPORTANT.
To form: HAVE + Past Participle of the main verb.
Use the correct form of HAVE.
Use the correct form of the Past Participle of the Main Verb
Be careful with irregular past participles:
be been; do done; have had;
see seen; take taken
REMEMBER: use Simple Past to talk about something that HAPPENED AT A SPECIFIC TIME IN THE PAST.

Working Together
In my opinion, it is easier to work with others than to work on your own. First, you get more done if you work with others. For example, one of my brother’s chores is taking care of the yard. He finishes faster if we work as a team to mow, weed, trim, and rake. Second, if you work with others, they can give you advice on how to do something. Las week, the chain fell off my bicycle. I asked my friend Benny for help. He told me how to fix it and worked with me to get it done. Finally, working with others can be a lot of fun. I often help my dad clean out the garage and we make the work feel playful. In conclusion, go ahead and try working with others, and see how great it is!.
