Another thing that helps these individuals is helping them find a job that suites them The over all summary of section 8 The “Section 8” Housing Choice Vouchers Program offers affordable housing choices for very low-income households by allowing families to select from privately owned residences that are being made available for rent by their owner. Local municipal public housing authorities (PHA) generally pay the landlord the difference between 30 percent of household income and the PHA-determined payment standard – which is approximately 80 to 100 percent of the fair market rent (FMR).

Application of Kansas Housing Voucher Section 8 Program is a lottery based process which is open to anyone aged 18 years and above. The lottery dates of the lottery may change each New Year, however, these dates are announced in all local newspapers under the public notice section and also the DHA phone system. Entries from the interested applicants are submitted within the time frame allotted through the online process and transferred to DHA’s computer system. It is important to note that random drawings are held throughout the year.

What do the individuals need to do for the program if accepted
Once a family has been issued with a housing voucher it becomes the responsibility of the family head to find a suitable housing unit of their choice, in the community of their choice, where the owner agrees to rent under the program. The participant is free to choose any housing that meets the requirements of the program and is not limited to units located in subsidized housing projects.

Many of these individuals in the program attract individuals who are addicts as a significant other These families might think it is easier to have more kids to receive more income and more rooms These individuals are to afraid to get a better job and get taken off the program

Getting out of the trap the section eight program if the person goes through the enter program they will be out of poverty. The program is made to help them buy a home and section eight will make a portion of the mortgage payment every month. The home buyer program is 15 years. You will not have to pay the portion of the money back so long as you fallow the rules. You cant not let any one move in if so there income will become a part of the house hold income and the payment made by section eight will go down or it could make it so that you have to make the whole house payment.
