Special Meeting February 19, 2018

2 Purpose Alumni will receive results of Alumni Association survey
Alumni will receive information on the proposed management of McDonogh 35 Alumni will be able to ask questions and share comments regarding the proposed plan

3 Process Vice President will present survey results
Superintendent Lewis will present information regarding the transition of McDonogh 35 from a direct-run school Alumni questions, submitted via index cards, will be answered Speakers, who have signed up in advance, will have 2 minutes to share comments

4 Payoff Alumni will know results of association survey
Alumni will hear member articulation of the McDonogh 35 Legacy Alumni will receive information, get questions addressed, and understand the OPSB plans-to-date for the future of McDonogh 35

5 Alumni Association Survey
December 28, 2017 – January 8, 2018 Survey sent to members 72 members responded to the survey 18% of the membership at that time

6 Alumni Association members described themselves
81% read the association newsletter 67% follow the association on social media 51% participate in fundraising/association events 47% donate funds to association 33% attend school athletic events 28% attend meetings regularly; serve on an association committee 21% reside in another state 10% volunteer regularly at the school

7 Graduating class of members responding
– 48% – 19% – 15% – 11% – 7%

8 Recommend family member or friend to attend
Very likely – 46% Somewhat likely – 33% Not likely – 21%
