This is Lacey! She has been learning how to count to 10 in her kindergarten class.
One day, Lacey’s teacher announced, “Class next week we’re going to the farm! Our mission is to count how many of each animal we see.” Lacey had never been to a farm before, she was so excited for the field trip that she could hardly get any sleep the night before. She was ready to count how many animals she would see! When they arrived at the farm, the farmer brought the class to the barn and let the kids wander about to explore. They saw cows, horses, pigs, sheep, ducks, rabbits, goats, donkeys, llamas, and chickens! There were so many animals they could hardly keep track! “Wow!” Lacey shouted with joy, “There are so many cool animals here!” She started off on her journey to count the animals.
