Collaboration between APNIC and NIRs on outreach for situation towards IPv4 exhaustion

3. Information Shared at the SIG
Measurement on IPv6 readiness by DNS queries, IPv6 traffic, address allocations (TWNIC)
Survey on situation of  ISPs' in their economies on awareness, readiness for IPv6, issues they face (JPNIC, TWNIC)
Provide training, providing testbed, developed milestones per industry group through TF on IPv4 address exhaustion (JPNIC)
Research project on IPv6 address management (CNNIC)
APNIC collaborated with NIRs on NRO/APNIC on IANA 10% media campaign, picked up by local media in NIR’s economies and shared future plans
A participant from India shared an echo project on IPv6

4. Food for thoughts on Further Collaboration
A suggestion was made that APNIC can visit and exchange information with NIRs indivisually on board level, exchange technical information outside of NIR/APNIC workshop scheme
Considering among NIR SIG Chairs a way to exchange information about measures towards IPv4 address exhaustion and IPv6 deployment in between meetings
