Patients whose clinical characteristics are similar to those shown in left side of the panel are at risk of having clinically significant prostate cancer and, therefore, require regular follow‑up monitoring, possibly with additional treatment. Patients with at least one of the tumour-specific characteristics of high-risk disease should be considered to have high-risk disease. Patients with clinical characteristics similar to those shown in the right side of the panel have a low risk of clinically significant prostate cancer and, therefore, should receive regular follow‑up monitoring for signs of disease progression.
