Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being NCD EG Activity in Jointly, with PYLL-Project team and under support of NDPHS Secretariat, organizing and conducting the 12th PAC Side-Event “From facts to Policy”: discussion of the PYLL-Project results, elaboration conclusions and recommendations for further outcome use within participated countries and ND region (October 2016, Sopot, Poland). Participation in the 7th Annual EUSBSR Strategy Forum Working Seminar “Where are we heading – wealthier and healthier in the years to come, or just the opposite?”: introduction trends in human capital losses based on the PYLL-Project results and wealth, based on gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in the ND Partner countries for high level discussion (November 2016, Stockholm, Sweden). Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being Conclusion of two events: the implementation of the PYLL-Project revealed big differences in PYLL rates and GDP per capita between the countries within the ND region and positive their trends: decline in PYLL rates and increase in GDP per capita in all countries during the period from 2003 to 2013 years. Producing and disseminating an information and PR materials through the NDPHS website, e-newsletter, and e-news, both on-line and hard copy. Organization and conduction 4 NCD EG meetings: three in Moscow (RF) (1) on April 2016, 12 (2) on November 2016, and 13(3) on April 2017г., as well as one in Stockholm, Sweden - 14 (4) on September 2017. Organization and conduction the Ad-Hoc workshop before the 12th NCD EG meeting “Economical Justification of investments in Prevention of NCDs in Baltic Sea Region” (Moscow, RF on November 2016). Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being Conclusion Discussions of NCDs problems and their possible solutions at the NCD EG meetings show the necessity of the innovative interventions at local, regional and country level through multisectorial collaboration of health sector with other state and non-state sectors. The collaboration between the NDPHS EGs in discussion of joint problems and their possible decisions, joint projects elaboration and implementation will allow to increase the possibility of NCDs prevention, monitoring of NCDs causes and evaluating the progress made in their prevention and control.
