What is personification?
a nonhuman object or idea is given human characteristics ex: The wind sang a cheerful tune outside my window. The rain danced on the roof. What is personification?

an exaggeration made on purpose (intended exaggeration) ex: It was so cold even the polar bears were wearing scarves and hats! What is hyperbole?
