2 vibration A vibration is a quick movement back and forth.
The drummer feels the vibration of the drums and cymbals when he hits them. At what times have you felt a vibration?

3 tune A tune is a series of notes that make up a piece of music.
He played the same tune over and over again as he learned the new song. Can you play a tune on a musical instrument?

4 volume Volume is the amount of sound.
The girl didn’t her her mom because the volume of the music was too loud. At what times are you supposed to talk in a low volume?

5 expression When something has expression, it has a certain feeling or mood. The voices of the singers were so powerful and had so much expression. What songs do you think are fun to sing with lots of expression?

6 creative Creative means good at making new things or having new ideas.
Our music teacher told us to be creative, so we made up a new song to play. Who is the most creative person you know? How are they creative?

7 performance When you sing, dance, or act in front of an audience, you are giving a performance. The musicians played their best during the performance on the stage. Have you ever been to a performance of a play or music program?

8 concentrate When you concentrate, you put all your attention on one thing. The girl is focusing on the music. She has to concentrate to learn it. What is something you have to concentrate on in order to do?

9 relieved To be relieved means to no longer be worried.
The conductor was relieved that the musicians played the music correctly. When was a time that you were relieved that something did or did not happen?
