1. latitude

Includes the buildings, land, machines, money, and other items used to create wealth.

12. entrepreneurship
A person who organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.

13. life expectancy
The average number of years a person born in a particular country might be expected to live.

14. Gross Domestic Product (GDP)
The total value of goods and services produced by a country in a year. Retail is example.

15. service industries
Companies are involved in retail, transport, distribution, food services as well as other service-dominated businesses.

16. outsourcing
To purchase (goods) or subcontract (services) from an outside supplier or source

17. government regulation
A law that controls the way that a business can operate; or all these laws considered together

The ability to read and write.

20. human rights
A right that is believed to belong justifiably to every person.

21. economic development indicators
A statistic about an economic activity such as Per Capita GDP (average money amount each person makes in a year).

A company that sells small amounts of goods to a customer at a time. Example: Walmart
