17. IV. Community level physiological profiling by MicroResp
Initial methodology did not give good data due to low activity, hence 14C-labeled substrates used
New method validated for peat by checking for optimum incubation time, moisture content effects and sample ageing effects
All WP1 samples completed and data analysis finished (see Steve’s IPS talk)
Short communication on method development in progress
Communication using WP1 data probably end of year
