Form/Report 1.
Manager / Asst. Manager prepares subject offering list which is to be provided to Teaching Workload Committee. This should be done one trimester earlier during the Trimester Break. 2.
The Teaching Workload Committee prepares the workload assignments. This is done during the Trimester Break. 3.
Academic and Corporate Planning Committee (ACPC) reviews the workload assignment. If there were comments and/or changes the list is returned to the Teaching Workload Committee for revision. If approved it will be tabled in the Faculty Board. 4.
Faculty Board to approve the recommendation by ACPC. If amendments are required, the list is to be forwarded to the Teaching Workload Committee for amendments. If no amendments the next step will be timetabling setup. 5.
Faculty starts data setup in Syllabus + (CP).
Week 1 – Week 4 in Short Trimester Week 3- Week 8 Long Trimester 6.
ERU coordinates the venue booking for the timetabling setup. Faculty Manager/Assistant Manager to book venues during the arranged day and time setup by ERU.
Week 5 Short Trimester Week 9 Long Trimester 7.
Inbound process data transferred to CamSys. Faculty Managers to check data and update data. Timetable process completes.
Week 6 Short Trimester Week Long Trimester 8.
Faculty to submit Teaching workload report for ADC ‘s endorsement.
Subject Assignment Report to ADC 9.
Teaching workload report is tabled for Senate’s noting.
Week 7 Short Trimester Week 12 Long Trimester
