2. On your notecard… Please identify someone that you admire as a leader.
Explain why.
Be prepared to share your response with the class.

3. Time to get to know each other!
We will:
Stand in a circle.
Throw the ball to someone new.
Say their name before the ball is thrown.
Continue until everyone has caught the ball.
Rules!
You cannot throw the ball to someone in your own grade.
Must say the name BEFORE you throw.
All you can say is the person’s name.

4. If you could change the world, what would it look like?
Answer this question on your large piece of paper.
Consider the different ways that you could address this. You can use color, images/pictures, symbols, quotations, song lyrics, metaphors, poetry, etc. to illustrate your thoughts.
Be prepare to share with the group.

5. Create a Leader
You and your group will outline one of the members of your group.
Then, give them all of the tools, characteristics, skills, attributes, etc. that you think will be necessary for that person to be an effective leader.
Use symbols, pictures or words to express your idea, but be sure it is clear what you are trying to share.
Keep them appropriate.

6. Homecoming Brainstorming
What ideas do you have for Homecoming Themes and Dress Up Days?
What events or competitions would you like to see take place during Homecoming week?
How can you make this Homecoming week unique, memorable, exciting or engaging?
