The evening was started with a very well done and interesting presentation by Jessica Butt outlining some of the results of her research work with the SWT and other tournaments in the province.  Jessica spent the summer tagging tournament caught walleye with either acoustic or radio transmitting tags and then monitoring their movements over the week following the tournaments.

7. Jessica showed several slides showing where and how far the walleye travelled after release.  Some of the distances were quite amazing.
