5 Tundra Biome Characteristics: Very cold Snows everyday
Coldest and driest biome Located in the Northern Hemisphere Animals that live in this biome: Arctic Fox Caribou Ermine Grizzly Bear Harlequin Duck Musk Ox Polar Bear Snowy Owl

6 Desert Biome Characteristics: It is hot at day and cold at night

7 Marine/Aquatic Biome Characteristics:
Large bodies of water that cover most of the Earths surface It gets colder when its farther from the equator but gets hot when its close to the equator This biome can be located in the oceans, Indian, Atlantic, Pacific Animals that live in this biome: Whales Dolphins Sharks Seals Walrus star fish Eel Crabs Jelly fish Fresh and salt water fish

8 Polar Biome Characteristics:
The polar ice caps are very similar to the arctic tundra in that many of the same organisms can be found in both the tundra and the ice caps There is a smaller abundance of plants in the polar ice than in most other biomes, these include: Wildflowers, Arctic Poppies, Arctic Azaleas, Arctic Lupine, Mosses, Grasses, Lichens, and small shrubs like the Arctic Willow During the summer, the sun is out all day for about three months. Then, during winter, the sun is barely seen between late October and mid-March Animals that live in this biome: Ermine Arctic hare Lemming Arctic fox Arctic ground squirrels Polar bears Penguins

9 Temperate Forest Biome
Characteristics: The temperate forest climate varies in the time of year. In summer its very hot but in winter its extremely cold. They can be located in Eastern Asia Central and Western Europe. Animals that live in this biome: insects Spiders wolves Foxes Bears Coyotes Bobcats mountain lions Eagles Rabbits Deer Skunks Squirrels Racoons moose hummingbirds.

10 Grassland Biome Characteristics:
Summers are warm and humid and in the winter, its cold but not to the extreme 20˚in January and 70˚ in July Grassland biomes can be found in the middle latitudes, in the interiors of continents Animals that live in this biome: American Bald Eagle Badger Bobcat Bumble Bee Coyote Prairie Dog Swift Fox

11 Rainforest Biome Characteristics:
The rainforest is humid because of all the rainfall, 250 cm per year They can be found in North South America Animals that live in this biome: Africa Forest Elephant Bengal Tiger Chimpanzee Common Palm Civet or Musang Dawn Bat Golden Lion Tamarin Harpy Eagle Jambu Fruit Dove King Cobra Kinkajou Linn's Sloth Orangutan Proboscis Monkey Red-shanked Douc Langur Silvery Gibbon Slender Loris Sumatran Rhinoceros Toco Toucan Vampire Bat Wagler's Pit Viper
