Eating/drinking something that contains a toxin or disease causing microorganism Prevention: select, store, cook & handle food properly; prevent cross-contamination Reduce risk by: Replace/wash dishcloths & hand towels often; Keep fridge at proper temp; Wash hands, cooking utensils & surfaces w/warm soapy water, cook food throughly
