Staff have been mechanically removing the algae on a daily basis from the creek.
WPO staff have met on site with consultants who have various strategies to manage algae in the creek

Short Term Solution
Immediate visual results-initial treatment will be with hydrogen peroxide then transition to algaecide if needed.
TPWD permit has been acquired
Long Term
Products that will provide good bacteria to the water and naturally combat various nutrients-phosphorous, etc.
Biochar
Water Cleanser
Aquatic vegetation maturity and continued management of off site storm water will assist in algae management
