CONCLUSION
Do not accept that the earth is intact
Have it tested more regularly – With the shortage of staff it becomes more difficult
We had the earths tested every 5 years
We decided to have it tested annually
After installation of camera’s we can go back to every 5 years.

LENNOXTON NER FAULT
After replacing all earth’s in February 2007
In May Underground fault triggered a sequence of events
Check flames appearing above ground
Cables were 1,2 meter under ground
Main problem – NER failed – This could have happened on 11 February 2007
