INCOMING GRADES 5 & 6 FIELD TRIP INFORMATION 2018
This year is another year with many choices that are electives! Here is a rundown of our summer field trips… (please note – swimming begins on the first day we open!) Knucklebones Friday, June 29th - Knucklebones will be on-site and provides “… a diverse quantity of high-end athletic equipment, we are proud to bring active entertainment and fun directly to you!”. Please make sure to wear sneakers if participating. Check out their website at The Frisbee Guy Monday, July 2, Todd Brodeur is the ‘Frisbee Guy’ and will demonstrate his phenomenal Frisbee skills for our students. He will then have fun, interactive play shops where kids will participate in hands-on activities, learning how to do some of his amazing tricks! Check out their website at JayGee’s Ice Cream & Fun Center – Tuesday, July 10, We will be leaving at 12:30 and returning around 3:30. We will be taking advantage of their “Fun Pass,” which includes: 1-Go-kart Ride, 1-Round of Mini Golf, 1-Spin Zone Bumper Cars, 1-Batting cage Token and 1-Ice Cream cone or Slush! Canobie Lake Park – Wednesday, July 18, We will be leaving at 10:30 AM and will be returning around 3:30. While there, children may purchase a lunch or snack of their choice. They will be responsible for their own money. They may also bring a brown bagged lunch with them if they prefer. Boda Borg – Wednesday, July 25, We will be leaving at 12:30 and returning at 3:30 from Boda Borg. SNEAKERS ARE A MUST! Guests are transported into a real-world gaming environment; an experience we call Questing. Teams of 3-5 guests literally move through our Quests tackling a variety of mental and physical challenges. Success in the first challenge means entry into the next challenge and so on… Failure in any challenge means starting over or selecting another Quest. Stage Fort Park, Gloucester – Tuesday, August 7, We will be heading to Stage Fort Park in Gloucester, MA at 10:30 and will be returning about 3:30. SNEAKERS ARE A MUST! Children will need a bagged lunch from home; we will do a picnic lunch there. There are also a number of trails for us to walk, parks to play at and an ice cream shop! Please send money for ice cream with your child that day. They will be responsible for their money.
