The verb DOLER is a stem-changing verb o  ue stem change rule DOLER = To hurt, pain, ache Yo Él/Ella/Ud. Nosotros(as) Ellos/Ellas/Uds. duelo dueles duele dolemos duelen

3 Telling what happens to whom
We use direct object pronouns in front of a verb to show the object/person that directly receives the action of the verb. Examples from previous units: “El fútbol me interesa.” Soccer interests me. “Las matemáticas me aburren.” Math bores me.

4 Me, te, nos The object pronouns that we will use most often in this unit are: me (me) te (you) nos (us) Use these direct object pronouns when replacing someone’s name: lo (him) la (her) los (them, you all) las (them, you all)

5 Examples Try to interpret the following examples that use direct object pronouns: ¿Te ve el médico? Sí, el médico me ve. Me examina. ¿Te da una receta? Sí, me da una receta. Cuando tenemos la gripe, el médico nos receta antibióticos. Note: The d.o.p. is always placed right before the verb.
