Creation of the Sun Hydrogen gas will concentrate in one area of the nebula This concentration will cause the nebula to collapse under its own gravitational attraction Gravitational contraction creates great pressure causing the core of a developing star to heat up. Hydrogen fusion begins with the high heat and pressure.

Formation of the Planets
Small bodies formed from the gasses – planetesimals Planetesimals joined together through collisions and gravitational force to form protoplanets Collisions of protoplanets and plantesimals added to the masses of the protoplanets. Eventually, the protoplanets became large enough to form the planets (gas and solid) and the moons
