You will be presented with a selection of literary devices and possible subjects.
You will have to combine the subject(s) with that literary device to make an interesting mini-story during one song.

6. Face off time! It is now your turn!
All you have to do is use one of the suggestions we come up with and pair it against the random spinning wheel’s suggestion for a literary term.
You will have five minutes to create your own silly story with all of the elements you have been provided.
Make your story as funny as possible!
The winner will get a prize!

With the class divided up into four groups, each group will now decide on the best one.
Take three songs to share your strongest mini-story with your group (and your group mates will share theirs too).
Which one was the strongest? That one will represent your group.
We will repeat the process with two groups and then the two halves of the class.

At your table groups, each of you will have a turn to answer the vocab question.
