Transformational Award
Program Focus:
The Transformational Research Award provides two years of additional research funding for successful projects funded by Catalyst Awards. The Transformational Award will continue to support successful Catalyst Award Recipients’ work tackling critical scientific and therapeutic roadblocks and thereby opening new avenues for treating and curing disease.
Eligibility:
Only Catalyst Award Recipients who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply:
Received a Catalyst Award in 2016 (approved NCE) or 2017 and not previously applied for a Transformational Award
Have successfully achieved the proposed benchmarks and milestones outlined in their Catalyst Award proposals
Hold a full-time faculty appointment
Independent investigators with demonstrated institutional support and the specialized space and facilities needed to conduct the proposed research
Applicants may not have funding for a similar project
United States citizenship is not required; visa documentation is not required
PI may only submit one application
