Differential contributions of karyoplast and cytoplast to the developmental competence of vitrified oocytes. Vitrifed in-vitro matured oocytes and their fresh siblings were enucleated to prepare vitrified- karyoplast (VK) and cytoplasts (VC) and fresh- karyoplast (FK) and cytoplast (FC). These were used for reconstitution of four types of oocytes (FK/FC, VK/VC, FK/VC and VK/FC) that were used then for assessment of embryo development.
