Family is a public good - what kind of family sells the best nowadays?

Do women want to participate on public life?
women do not want to go to politics women do not want to deal with politics as they feel it is men´s discipline traditional concept: men work and feed a family, women take care about home and children Lucie Válová

Where is the CzR going to now?
Policy Statement of the Czech Government to supply the principle of equality between women and men to focus on the suppression of gender-based violence to strive for better reconciliation of work, private and family life the provision of sufficient capacity at preschool facilities the support of flexible and also stable working arrangements seek for promotion of an equal pay for equal work higher representation of women in decision-making positions Lucie Válová

Numbers and statistics
only 25 % of women in political decision-making positions in 2013. representation of women in decision-making bodies of the main stakeholders only 14.3 % in 2012 men predominate in decision-making positions gender pay gap in 2013 was nearly 21.5 % and subsequently the gender pension gap was 18.1 % lack of capacity of the preschool facilities The part-time employment is still used more by women than men Overall all these current phenomenon have their consequences in the families and affect family relationships Lucie Válová

What do we do to support familes
PROGRESS project: the Action plan for balanced representation of women and men in decision-making positions and other related measures project proposals focused on prejudices accompanied with unusual type of a family. (homosexual adoptions, promotion of men taking parental leave) Within Young Social Democrats we fous on campaign for social media where we want to tackle some issues like LGBT, feminism and in general families as such If equality is concerned we cannot make a wrong step!
