2. Final Exam Tuesday, April 8th from 2:00 to 5:00 at Tabaret 319.
30% of the final grade
No books, notes or electronic devices allowed.
Duration: 3 hours.
Grade distribution:
Section 1 – 40 points
Section 2 – 20 points
Section 3 – 40 points

3. Final Exam. Section 1
Identify briefly ANY TEN of the given dates, concepts or individuals (as they relate to Yiddish literature and/or film). (40 points) Be sure to write at least one full sentence that includes at least one specific detail for each of the ten responses. This section is cumulative and includes the material covered throughout the term.

4. Final Exam. Section 2
Identify the still (name the title of the film and the director) and comment on it and the scene it is taken from in at least two paragraphs. For example, say what aspect of Yiddish culture the scene represents. (20 points)
EXAMPLE 
This section is cumulative and includes all the films from Uncle Moses to The Dybbuk.

5. Final Exam. Section 3
Provide extensive and detailed responses to any TWO of the following topics (in at least four paragraphs each). (40 points)
This section is not cumulative and includes only the films and stories covered after the midterm.
Be specific; use concrete examples; analyze details; avoid repetitions.
