Are you eligible for Financial Aid?
Here are the general eligibility requirements for federal financial aid. Students must: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or eligible non-citizen Have a valid SSN Have a high school diploma, or a GED certificate Enrolled in an eligible program as a regular student seeking a degree or certificate Maintain satisfactory academic progress Not owe a refund on a federal student grant Not in default on a federal student loan Register with the Selective Service System (males only) Not a convicted for felony or drug use

Types of Aids Grants Loans Work-Study
Does not have to be repaid, unless student withdraws from school and/or owe a refund Loans Borrowed money for college; student/parent must repay student loans with interest Types of Loans Unsubsidized Loans Subsidized Loans Parent PLUS Loans Work-Study A work program through which student earns money to help pay for school
