Language Objective By the end of the lesson, students will be able to use the language domains of reading and writing to communicate the academic math language of polygons. They will verbally communicate and write to demonstrate their knowledge of area, surface area and volume and apply their understanding to solving real world and mathematical problems. They will show their understanding by completing at least 4 real world problems independently or with my partners with least 80% accuracy.
