1
How do multiple waves interact with one another?
2
Reflection Light waves scatter or bounce off of an object
3
Refraction Light waves bend while going through an object
4
Diffraction involves a change in direction of waves as they pass through an opening or around a barrier in their path
5
Constructive Interference
When two waves meet in such a way that their crests line up together, resulting wave has higher amplitude
6
Destructive Interference
the crest of one wave meets the trough of another, and the result is a lower total amplitude.
7
Absorption Light waves are absorbed by an object
8
Pitch A high pitch sound corresponds to a high frequency sound wave and a low pitch sound corresponds to a low frequency sound wave.
