The six marketing functions are product/service management, marketing-information management, pricing, distribution, promotion, and selling. When developing a new product, brainstorm first and consider your current situation. Establish S.M.A.R.T GOALS and try to create a product that provides a UNIQUE BENEFIT that connects with your TARGET MARKET. If you do this and promote it in the correct manner then you have a good shot at being successful!
