For example, if the theme is “Revenge leads to Heartbreak,” then you will be using symbols of shadows, evening skies, black roses, shattered mirrors, or crumpled photos to show the darkness that revenge brings.

4. Your Task
You want to select a theme that fits with your plot and major conflict.
You should throw in some objects that symbolize the main emotions of your story.
Most of all, have fun! This is a creative assignment so let your imagination be free!
