If you’ve already done a CBC through the Council you do not need to do it again. If you did with another org/institution you do. If you don’t know, check the student portal – show portal—ask Eric to get up test student.
3) Must schedule by April 12, 2010 – bring form to 505 E. Green and speak to Donna/Kim to schedule appointment – must do it in person.

Does NOT cover K-3 (need LBSI approval/endorsement for K-3)

5. Endorsements (K-3) Bilingual approval/endorsement ESL (CI/DEIL)

Six additional courses in SPED

6. Foreign Language Endorsements K-4, 5-8 and 9-12
K-4: 18 hours in one foreign language

7. Certificate/License Moving to new system by July 1, 2013

10. ISBE Rules
No professional education or content course with a grade lower than a ‘C’ may be used toward certification, endorsement, or approval
No professional education or content course taken for CR/NC or proficiency credit may be used toward certification, endorsement or approval
AP credit may be used

Criminal Background Checks are being done on April 24 – 25 from 9 a.m. – noon and 12:30– 5 p.m.
Check student portal if already taken to see if we have results – CBC date cleared
Be sure to print off/bring appropriate form
If these two dates are not convenient for you, you can also go to one of the Accurate Biometrics site(s) (information is found in our website). Again, be sure to bring form.
If you don’t hear that you are cleared within three weeks, contact us.
